CenterState Bank Branch Combines Holiday Spirit with Community Donations

SPRING HILL, Fla. (December 6, 2011) – CenterState Bank announces its Spring Hill branch is serving as a donation drop-off point for two community programs – Hernando County Foster Program’s 2nd Annual Christmas Party and Shiloh Problem Solvers, Inc.’s 1st Annual Christmas Food Distribution – in an effort to help those in need this holiday season.

“We look forward to involving CenterState Bank employees, friends and family in giving back and are honored to have opportunities to support our community in two different but equally important ways,” says Sandra Isenhour, Spring Hill branch manager, CenterState Bank.

Boxes are available in the Spring Hill branch lobby for food donations until Monday, December 12 and for toy donations until Friday, December 16. Toy donations will be given to Hernando County Foster Program’s 2nd Annual Christmas Party, where more than 100 children will attend. Food donations will be given to Shiloh Problem Solvers, Inc. for its 1st Annual Christmas Food Distribution, an event providing Christmas meals to more than 500 families in Hernando County. CenterState Bank Branch Brings Holiday Cheer to Underprivileged Children

DADE CITY, FL (December 2, 2011) CenterState Bank announces its Dade City Bank branch will serve as a sponsor to the teenage children of Florida Baptist’s Children’s Home, an organization that serves abused, neglected and orphaned children since 1904.  The Bank will host its third annual Christmas party on December 13, 2011, in the Dade City branch lobby for the older children of the Florida Baptist Children’s Home and present them with donated gifts.

“There are approximately 35 orphans this year that would not be getting gifts for Christmas with out the help of CenterState Bank employees, customers, friends and family.” says Bonnie Krummen, branch manager, CenterState Bank Dade City branch.

CenterState Bank Vice President Honored With Prestigious Community Award

LEESBURG, FL (October 25, 2011) – CenterState Bank announces its Leesburg branch vice president/commercial loan officer, Steve Knowles, has been honored with receiving the 2010-2011 President’s Award presented by Leesburg Partnership.  This prestigious award is given annually to a person who exhibits the strongest commitment to his or her community.

Knowles gives tireless effort to physical, economic and social revitalization of the Leesburg community.  He has been a Leesburg Partnership volunteer for five years, serving as membership chair, events block captain, cash operations volunteer, executive board member and most recently, board liaison to Leesburg’s Bikefest.  In addition, Knowles donates his time to the Leesburg community as vice president, Lake Sumter Community College Foundation; chairman, Foundation of Performing Arts Committee; ambassador, Leesburg Chamber of Commerce; finance committee chairman, Morrison United Methodist Church; treasurer, Leesburg Boat Club; and board member, Leesburg Quarterback Club.
